OSHO: Absolutely Free to Be Funny

“I Love to Disturb People.” Osho — In a series of excerpts from an interview with Jeff McMullen of Australia’s “60 Minutes” Osho offers a series of one-liners about Gandhi, Hitler, the Pope and Mother Teresa — and goes on from there to talk about his reputation for being controversial, contradictory, and, in the words of the interviewer, “one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.” This video is available for translation as part of the OSHO TALKS Video Translation Project. Does Osho bileave in God? or does he bileave in god but not the way we see it?

  2. Swiggia says:

Why is every Osho interviewer I am finding anti-spiritual? Why have they done no research about how gurus and masters work? I am so grateful that Osho was compassionate enough to endure these people.

  3. jashan1985 says:

@brainaholic bro, what are you talking about, when he is saying that God is a four letter dirty word. He does not mean that God is made up of four english letters. He means that God is like a word fu** which is dirty and I think you do not know the difference between concentration and meditation at all. That is why you are using them like same. He himself says that Gurdieff was one of the most significant people.

  4. brainaholic says:

Osho listen: G-O-D has no FOUR (4) letters, only Three (3). The important thing is that you are not in a total concentration, (meditation) you SHOULD BE since you selfproclaim to be “awake”. Go anfd read Gurdieff.
He responded “in a lake” because he did not have what to respond.

  6. achuthan1988 says:

what is wrong with gandhi and mother teresa?

  7. Mashiasu says:

@Dollarwidur Because that is unfortunately the truth. Just read up on all the facts about his life as a pope that didn’t make it to the mass media, for obvious reasons.

  8. deecanis says:

what did he say about mother theresa? it is time for her to jump into a what? …didnt understand it :D

A new drug, all else expired > Osho! Awareness on a plain, where you paint an image and play with it to amuse yourself for the time you have at hand!

@Dollarwidur It means that the pope should be in prison

  15. horrorflesh says:

@Dollarwidur – it means that he should be behind a building containing a bar. Not allowed to come inside and enjoy a beer in the actual bar, but stay behind the building containing the bar…

  16. balansyoga says:

I love what he said about loving to disturb people so people will start to think for themselves again.
    It is so true…

  17. Dollarwidur says:

I’m from Poland… What does mean “He should be behind bars???”

  18. munkaneze says:

@creamgreen30 it is simple. Osho only ever wanted people to be their true selves. Do that and you have done exactly what Osho taught, and THAT is the greatest thanks you could give.

  19. hitesh80patel says:

    love master……

  20. tanpm0620 says:

God is not dirty, but people’s idea of God is dirty
    LOL Mother Teresa. . .

  21. creamgreen30 says:

What an amazing transformation of the interviewer from critic to devotee in such a short space of time. Osho’s prescence must have been incredible to experience. So beautiful, so much love, so much unspoken communion between the two here. Just sitting in the same room was enough of a glimpse of the beauty of Osho’s “no mind” state for Jeff McMullen. Thank you Osho. I love you for helping me become more free, more real, more me. How can I ever repay you for the light you bring?

  22. dreamconscious says:

    I love this!

  23. luap1236 says:
